giving written estimates on proposals, clarifying the scope: what is included,
and what is not. Schedule, fees and billing. There is one page of plain language
boiler plate. I notify clients promptly when additional work needs to be done.
Creativity: I am creative in my practice of engineering and design. I am
rigorous in my calculations and practice of building science, and open to the
spark of intuition and to the suggestions of other members of the Project team [
owners, architects, builders, building officials and inspectors]
Service: I see my professional work as service using all my skills for the
welfare of the client and the community. I am on time, producing work for the
estimated fee. Client and project team calls and emails are welcome.
